- Training Discussion: Horse and Rider Evaluation Criteria out, please review and practice. Search and Rescue, Citizens on Patrol, Desensitization training, and keeping track of hours for horses ridden at the various events, etc. Let us know if there is a Posse related horse activity that you’d like to learn and or practice.
- Training Certificates: if you attend mounted training, please send in your certificate to Lt. Frederick Crump so we can keep track of your training.
- Fundraising: Need sponsors if you know of businesses that would like to donate; fundraisers such as Scavenger Hunt, Obstacle Course, Shooting Clinic.
- Arena: Windy Ryon Arena Approved for TCSP Headquarters, please sign and return waivers.
- Uniforms: Black felt hats starting November 1st for winter season; Class A - Long sleeves with ties, cross rifles and whistle; Short sleeves DO NOT require whistle, cross rifles, or tie. Stampede strings are allowed if black; Black boots (if upper is colored, make sure pants are long enough to cover tops) and black belts; TCSP Award buckles are allowed; We will start riding with TSCP halters and leads (please order thru Cheri). Got You Covered has uniform clothing that you can buy and then sew the patch on. Black gloves and black ear muffs allowed in cold weather. Chaps $250, Saddle Bags $150.
