  3. Tarrant County Employee Appreciation Day, Thursday, May 15, 12:00pm – 2:00pm, Downtown Fort Worth Courthouse
  4. Basic Tactical Mounted Patrol School, May 19-23; Hitchcock, TX
  5. Windy Ryon Roping Patrol – Friday May 23 – Sunday May 25; Shifts have been posted to GroupMe – Please sign up for specific shifts.  We really need 2 per shift.
  6. LSES Clinic, Saturday 5/24; 9:00am – 4:00pm, Cedar Creek Run Arena - $150; $50 deposit required
  7. Haslet Memorial Day Ceremony, Monday, May 26, 10:00am – 11:00am; in the saddle by 9:30; Haslet Community Park
  8. Arlington Independence Day Parade; Friday, July 4th; 9:00am – 11:00am; in the saddle by 8:30; Location TBD
  9. Edgecliff Village 4th of July Parade; Friday, July 4th; 9:00am – 10:00am; in the saddle at 8:30am; Edgecliff Village Fire Station
  10. National Day of the American Cowboy, Saturday, July 26; 11:30am – 1:00pm; in the saddle by 11:00am for Flags; line up by 11:15am; Stockyards
  11. Marine Corp League National Convention – Friday, August 15, 7:30 am. To 9:00 am; Hilton DFW Lakes Executive Conference Center; 1800 Highway 26E, Grapevine, TX  76051; More details to follow
  12. National Mounted Police Colloquium – Monday, September 8 to Saturday, September 13; Kentucky Horse Park; Let Kristen know if you are interested.
  13. National Night Out; Tuesday, October 7, 6:00pm – 8:00pm – Various Locations TBD; so far we have Pantego
  14. Tunnel to Towers, Saturday, October 11; 7:30am – 12:00pm - Stockyards
  15. Red Steagall Parade, Friday October 24 – in the Stockyards – times to be confirmed
  16. Red Steagall Parade Volunteer Fundraiser – Friday 10/24 through Sunday 10/26; shift will be posted.
  17. Poly Tech Homecoming Parade – Saturday, October 25 – in the saddle at 10:15 am; Parade steps off at 11:00 am – Long sleeve uniforms.  We will carry colors; Staging location directions to be communicated.
  18. Christ’s Haven Fall Festival, Saturday October 25th, 2:00pm – 4:00pm; location TBD
  19. Fort Worth Veterans Day Parade – Tuesday, November 11 – In the saddle at 10:30am; Parade steps off at 11:00 am – Stage at Panther Island Pavillion; It may be possible to have Vietnam Vets as our guests, please let Cheri know if you have a friend/relative that would like to be in the parade on trailer or something.
  20. Arlington Veterans Day Parade – more info to come
  21. Fort Worth Parade of Lights, Sunday, November 23, 6:00pm – 8:00pm; Streets Close at 4:00pm so we need to be there and start staging by 5:30; posse has lights for the horses
  22. Christmas in the Stockyards Parade – Saturday, December 6; 4:00pm – 5:30pm; Stockyards
Other Discussion:
  1. New Shirts ready to order – More info will be sent via email; Cost for long sleeves is about $80.
  2. Our new badges are in – you need to turn in your current badge and trade for a new one.  Contact Rodney, Tim or Cheri.
  3. Joys and Concerns --- What is going on? Accomplishments? Proud moments? Updates to prayer list?

Monday night practices at Windy Ryon are back – Stay tuned to GroupMe for more information. First Monday of each month will be reserved for our monthly meeting at 6:45pm for officers, 7:30pm general membership at the Windy Ryon Memorial Arena Building, 6201 Windy Ryon Way, Saginaw, TX  76179
